A reader of this post scored free Van Halen tics for last night's concert, their latest stop on the "Desperate for Relevancy" tour. Apparently, aging Budweiser-fueled, post-menopausal groupies are not unique to the streets outside my loft 'cuz midway through the encores I received this text message:
"OMG U were right! Good thing tickets were free!"
Some themes truly are universal, more's the pity. At least my favorite running route is back to normal...'til Bon Jovi shows up in a few months. Blech.
