My goodness. You'd think that one ex-Governor in jail at a time would be enough for Illinois voters.
Blago's behavior, as characterized in an ongoing news conference, is appalling, scummy, bottom-of-the-cesspool, down-in-the-muck loathsome. A complete sell-out of the public trust.
But it didn't take very long for some rare common sense to emerge. Either that or the pursuit of short-term political advantage continues apace.

I just posted on this - it's both a happy and a appalling day here. Yet oddly, no one is all that surprised. Is that just us being so used to the corruption that nothing is shocking?
Next up - Daley.
