I'd like to see the Chicago Tribune succeed or fail on its own merits, not because it's owned by a loudmouthed dwarf who's been bamboozled into thinking that excess leverage is a legitimate business strategy.
UPDATE: Today, The Tribune Company filed for bankruptcy. If Mark Cuban's still serious about buying da Cubs, and assuming da Commish has not relented in his opposition to having a loudmouthed blogger crash his clubby little world, I suggest Cuban should buy the ENTIRE COMPANY, lock, stock and newspaper crock.
He'd thus own the Cubs along with everything else worthy and worthless, and there's not a damn thing da Commish could do about it.
UPDATED UPDATE: The headline refers to the paper, not the dwarf.
