A while back (when several of you thought you'd figured out my politics) I said this:
Now, today, comes confirmation of just HOW out of step I am, with news that the same Salt Lake City theaters showing "Saw V" in all its gory glory have banned "Zack and Miri Make A Porno." A theater spokesperson declined to comment (no big surprise there) though it appears that the title's inclusion of the word "porno" has 'em freaked out.
Being out of step with parts of Utah may not be such a bad thing, though I'm still trying to figure out what it says about the collective "us" when the "Saw" series is all the way up to its fifth installment.

I think you need to speak to the powers that be in Hollywood. Or whereever they make those violent pieces of crap. The collective "us", says nothing about US. It has a lot to do with the 20-somethings of the world.
Most forms of media either -film, DVD's, magazines, etc.. are again geared to the 20 somethings of the world. Which is very sad because- most don't have clue or know their ass from a hole in the ground and they have NO money. So- why do they get to decide? Who caters to us?
