"There are fewer uncertainties. You ride your own race, and somehow it's less aggressive - you can't affect anyone else's race and they can't affect yours. You go into a time trial and you wish the other riders well and you just concentrate on doing the best you can."
That's how I feel too. Plus roadies are weird.
