Obamalama came to Omahama. Not sure which is worse: young, screaming, orgasming political bandwagon-jumpers, or old, screaming, orgasming rock star-jumpers. Hard to tell 'em apart sometimes. Borrowing from W.C. Fields, neither group is much more than a loud noise at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.
iPod Shuffle: "Lady Pilot" by Neko Case, from "Blacklisted." This particular recording by Ms. Case has some particular emotional resonances for me, from a time in my life when. well, let's just say it resonates. And "Someday Baby" by Bob Dylan, from "Modern Times." Not much Dylan on the 'ol iPod, but this song kicks ass.
