What's going on with "Mucho Sucko" anyway? A while back I used that rather crude phrase to title a post about the Sopranos' finale. Suddenly Googlers and Yahooers by the score - well, by the handful anyway - are searching for "Mucho Sucko" and surfing on over to Life Is A Tri. I've missed another cultural phenomenon, apparently.
Oh, and 'tis the season for the PARDEEVILLE (WI) triathlon; lots of lost souls searching for "PARTYVILLE" (WI) are finding out that it's PARDEEVILLE not PARTYVILLE and they'll just have to make their own fun. Shouldn't be too difficult in Wisconsin regardless of the town's name! I missed the Pardeeville tri this summer but there's 2 years worth of race and lodging reviews in the archives.
At the moment I'm in the Great Suburban Outback's Outpost #2 celebrating a birthday weekend with 3 Tri-Daughters, Tri-Brother (who raced the Steelhead half-Ironman race yesterday), Tri-Mother and assorted friends and hangers-on. Yesterday was a gorgeous day for a race. Today's cloudy and rainy.
I watched Steelhead from the sidelines due to generally sucky conditioning and lack of motivation. But I called CoachKaryn and she slapped me around a bit. Re-motivation begins in September. I think I'll make Steelhead 2008 my 'A' race.
