It's Not A Job, It's An Adventure!

The Fashion & Style section of the New York Times discovers triathlons and calls them another "job." It's nice to be recognized, if only in the Fashion section. I think the "job" aspect sorta misses the point, though.

i thought it was supposed to be fun?

and if my kids said to me what that one guys kids said to him about him not wanting to be around them, i'd drop it like a hot potato. but i guess i'm weird?

a great example of an elitist writer sticking her finger at the lifestyle of a triathlete. I guess she looks at her passion as jobs; mastering the perfect pate', getting on the best guest lists, sleeping with her informants.

Not only is training like having another job (I say that positively: the same intensity, focus and time commitment)but my paying job is starting to get in the way of my non-paying job! Something's got to give
