After all my bitching about my non-functional Cateye bike computer, it appears there my be a happy ending to the story. I received an e-mail today from the company authorizing me to return the unit. We'll see what happens next. In the meantime, I guess I'll have to estimate speed and cadence the old-fashioned way: if it feels good it must be OK.
