Holy Moly. A check arrived in the mail today from Google's AdSense program. You see those ads down to your right and up there, just below the title? I get paid when you click on 'em. Pretty cool. And here I thought blogging was just about my self-absorbed narcissism.
Now I'm tossing some beer in the snowbank and heading to the hot tub where I'll have a good view of my neighbors across the lake ringing in the New Year with fireworks and other implements of noisy, colorful destruction. It's quite a scene: colors reflecting on the icy lake, boomers echoing off the surrounding hills, me raising a beer and cheering like a maniac. Maybe the red foxes'll add their voices to the celebration.

You WILL be a happier and richer man in 2009!! Based on the number of times I'm clicking on the 'google' ads....you'll be a millionaire by days end! And I actually DO love the 8000+ sq. ft. house in CO for a possible vacation rental.
So do you have to pay taxes on those huge winnings? :-))
Hah! Taxes? Well, er, hmmm, lemesee...ah rats! So much for THAT retirement plan!
