Wow. Against all odds, my rock-bottom expectations and a hundred-year record of cursed futility, da Cubs are in possession of baseball's best won/loss record AND Chicago's bragging rights (having swept their cross-town rivals in a weekend series.)
It ain't October yet boys, but I may retract at least some of the nasty things I've said about 'em over the years.
