Wow are the B-52s back! WooHoo! Just downloaded their new release "Funplex" from iTunes. Holy smoke. My drums are pounding, the house is throbbing and Camden the Wonder Dog is running for cover.
Preview the album with "Pump" and "Hot Corner." They've acquired a bit of a snarl somewhere along the way, doncha think? The rhythms and crunching guitars are sorta mid-career INXS while the harmonies are unmistakably B-52s. I like it. Great for the treadmill and bike trainer.
