- "Finish vertically not horizontally." Here are the life adventures of Vertical Man, captious triathlete. Training, racing, drumming, musing and ranting. Occasional music, literary or social criticism, product reviews, dinner menus and whatever else I feel like, all viewed from the middle of the pack. I see the world through idiosyncratic, BS-detecting glasses and suffer neither fools nor celebrities very gladly or for very long. I'm frequently opinionated and occasionally profane...or is it the other way around? Of course you know that the views expressed here are mine and mine alone.
