As a marketer and brand-builder, I love passing along stories like this: Rocky Wirtz reinvigorates the Chicago Blackhawks. Now I just gotta get the local Great Suburban Outback FSN affiliate to quit showing Detroit's wretched team.
Bright sunny day here in the GSO. Time for a run along the river. Then I'm gonna go buy some bird feeders. The chickadees look hungry.
iPod Shuffle: Richard Strauss, The Four Last Songs - Beim Schlafengehen, recorded by Lucia Popp, Klaus Tennstedt and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. One of my top ten favs. Followed by "East of the Sun (and West of the Moon)" by Tommy Dorsey &His Orchestra Featuring Frank Sinatra, from "The Popular Years Volume 3. I love the gently swinging songs from the WW II generation.
