Better Than A Refund

A Chinese factory manager killed himself yesterday, apparently over the latest snafu involving toys painted with lead-based paint. As corporate accountability goes that's a little over the top, but maybe there’s a lesson in there somewhere for Mattel and Wal-Mart executives as they merrily offshore manufacturing to China and consumers pay the price.
