Now Nobody'll Know My Name

I just heard that my favorite Great Suburban Outback restaurant, the little Italian place where everybody did indeed know my name, has been sold and is closing in two weeks. This is not especially good news as I try to stop in whenever I'm visiting the Outback, most recently over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a good run, given the average restaurant's life span. Still, I'll miss the place.

Thanks, guys, for all the memories of exuberant family dinners and lazy summer afternoons spent at a sidewalk table watching the bike races, enjoying chicken Vesuvio and a glass of Justin Isosceles.

Awww... I'm sorry to hear that. You could always open your own version in the "Big O".
