The Great Suburban Outback Outpost #2 – my retreat in SW Michigan and Tri-Daughter #1 and #2's “dorm” while attending college. I’ll be there for Steelhead in less than 8 months…hard to believe. The snow should’ve melted by then, hopefully. Right now the lake’s a trifle, er, solid for open-water swimming. The jacuzzi’s nice, though.

Oh man, I'm jealous. We've gotten a grand total of maybe four inches of snow all winter, where I live. Another cross country ski season busted.... :-(
I showed these photos to the Door County planning commission as Feb 3rd starts Winter games ....they felt it would be very kind of you to host this years events since we have a serious lack of snow. How many cars fit in your driveway? How many in the hottub?
