Training Schedule For May 23-29, 2005

This is week 2 of Build 1. Total training hours are 13:40.

  • Monday: Swim 1:00 (2,400); Run :40
  • Tuesday: Bike 2:00
  • Wednesday: Swim 1:00 (3,000); Run 1:00
  • Thursday: Bike 1:00; Strength :30
  • Friday: Brick 2:00 (Bike 1:30, Run :30)
  • Saturday: Bike 3:00
  • Sunday: Run 1:30

Things are getting intense. Tuesday's bike ride is a breakthrough workout with 3X10 minutes steady in Zone 4-5a. Wednesday's swim is 6X500s at my half-IM pace. Friday's brick builds intensity throughout the entire 2:00. Saturday's bike and Sunday's run are both lower intensity efforts, thankfully. Somebody may need to talk me in off the ledge this week...remind me why I'm doing this, etc.

You are an animal...I seriously don't know how you fit it all in!

That said, I am totally in awe of your discipline and fortitude. Thanks for the inspiration.
