Endurance athletes probably already follow the sensible recommendations, which emphasize daily exercise and a diet heavy in whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Finally, sanity begins to return to American diets after all the low-carb nonsense wore off (and the excess weight didn't.)
The article does offer one complaint: the recommendations "lack specifics." Well, here's one: put down the TV remote and get off your ass...
